Worship with us today – May 29

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!

What makes you do things that you don’t want to do? God sometimes has to get our attention to help us keep moving in the direction of God’s will. Sometimes God’s actions are big and loud. Other times they’re softer, persistent nags on our souls. These threats to what is normal and comfortable upset us. God’s truth shines a light on things that makes it impossible to be who we were. God disturbs your normal and will upset others through you. Change is hard, but growth means change has to happen. Once we’re changed, God uses us to help change the world. Join us this week as we talk about “Disturbing the City” as we conclude our Easter series We are Witnesses.

Click here to see the video live on Facebook at 11:00, or you can watch at any time on Facebook or Youtube.

Here is some information to help you participate if you’re joining us online:

  • The response to our interactive opening prayer is, “Through your Spirit, we are drawn into the illumination of your empowering love.”
  • Today’s songs are “I Love to Tell the Story” and “Are Ye Able” Look up the words online, and you can sing along.
  •  The scripture readings are Acts 16:16-34 and John 17:13-19.
  • Please let us know how God is moving in your life. You can leave a celebration and/or prayer request in the comment section so that we can celebrate God’s kindness and discern God’s will with you.
  • Share an offering in our app in Givelify or send a check to the church.

We’re looking forward to worshipping with you. Have a blessed Lord’s day, everyone!
