Worship with us – July 31

Do you feel invisible sometimes? Does anyone see me? Most people have people in their lives who make them feel special. As much as we relish that feeling, someone loves us even more than that. God loves us in ways that we can’t always understand. If you don’t know God’s love in your life, join us today, because we’ll talk about how to strengthen your knowledge of God at work in your world and build that relationship. Someone sees and understands you. Join us to find out more.

We’ll be live on Facebook at 11:00, or you can watch at any time on Facebook or Youtube.

Here is some information to help you participate if you’re joining us online:

Our church Street Team will be launching soon. The charge of the Street Team is to walk the neighborhood and meet our neighbors. They will listen to our neighbors’ hopes and concerns, share information about our church and events, and pray with and for the community. The team will do walks at least twice a month, but they can go whenever members can go. We are planning our first walk this Saturday, July 23. If you can give us one hour of your time between 11:00 and 1:00, it will be a blessing. If you are interested in being a part of this effort to get to know our neighbors, see Pastor Scott or Melissa.

Please help with our ongoing work to paint the Fellowship Hall. There is a lot of trim work and second coats to apply to different spots. If you can give some time on a Wednesday evening or Saturday morning to help, see Dick or Pastor Scott.

Worship with us this week – July 17

Most people want to be people of their word. We work hard at saying what we mean and doing what we say. Everyone knows the disappointment of dealing with someone who does not keep their word. That’s why knowing that God promises us important things is transformational. God keeps promises. God never fails. Building your life on God’s promises changes things. Over the next few weeks, we will explore God’s promises and their impact on our lives. Join us and discover a new hope.

Worship with us today – July 10

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!

Everyone has standards. Things have to measure up for us to have some degree of satisfaction. Do you have a standard for how well you live your life or whether a certain decision is best? It seems strange, but many people claim Christ without thinking of any such standard. Fortunately, we serve a God of grace, but we know that our standard isn’t anything goes. How do we understand what it means to live striving toward a life like Jesus? Join us this week.
