Worship with us today – January 29

Do you want to be happy?

People spend a lot of time pursuing what makes them happy. There is a lot of wisdom in the world that shows that most of what we seek doesn’t produce the feeling of peace and joy we seek. Jesus taught us that we should find blessings and happiness in times when it didn’t make sense. These lessons might not tell us how to find happiness, but they reassure us true happiness, God’s joy, can be found in unexpected places and times. Join us this morning for “Blessed Are We.”

We’ll be live on Facebook at 11:00, or you can watch at any time on Facebook or Youtube.  Click here for the video.

Have you ever wanted to know your future? Folks spend a lot of money on things like horoscopes, cards, and psychics because they think these things tell them what will happen. People who follow Jesus may still want to know the future, but Jesus gives us a different way of handling it. If you’ve ever been anxious about what’s coming, join us this morning. We’re talking about how “Understanding the Assignment” makes the difference for a believer.

Worship with us this Sunday – January 15

We’re halfway through January. It’s interesting to consider how many people came into the new year two weeks ago wanting to change their lives. Most of those promises and resolutions won’t have lasted til today. Lots of people want a fresh start. We’re looking for bold ways to express the change that happened in us. Baptism is one of the most important ways we show that something is different in our lives. Join us this morning as we explore the change God makes in us. It’s a new day! Join us to celebrate how God is at work!

Christ has come to the world. In more practical terms related to today’s scripture lesson, Mary and Joseph are now living with a small child in Bethlehem. Maybe Joseph was used to angels and God sending him messages by now. Maybe it had been a while, and he thought those times were behind him. However, strangers arriving from another country bringing unusual gifts is one more “God thing” that happens in their lives. Then Joseph gets another message from an angel. What does this story tell us about how God is working with us now? We can trust that God is still sending those messages, and we do not need to be afraid.

We’ll be live on Facebook at 11:00, or you can watch at any time on Facebook or Youtube.  Click here for the video.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Celebrate what God has done!

It’s been an intense week. Our area is still recovering from the Blizzard of 2022. With so much loss and stress, it’s easy to miss the fact that Christmas still happened. How did you celebrate the coming of Christ to your world? Were you able to experience a new movement of Christ in your life this year? It would be understandable if you didn’t, but Christ comes whether we’re watching for Him or not. Take time to appreciate what God has done, even in the middle of what feels like chaos. Join us today for “The Journey Will Bless You.”
