Worship with us this morning – March 26

Which of the following makes it easier for you to change, a reward or a punishment? This morning our focus is on a God who punishes. It can be difficult to take God seriously when we hear lessons about love and hell at the same time. Many have given up on God because they can’t fathom that a God who claims to love them would send them or anyone to eternal punishment. How do we live with this? Join us this morning to discover how a loving God lives with the reality of Hell.

Feeling like God doesn’t hear you? Here’s a word . . .

We are continuing our walk to the cross and the resurrection with Jesus. On our way, we are listening and wrestling with some difficult teachings of Jesus. This morning our focus is a time we see Jesus behave differently than usual. He greets a woman, and he seems uncharacteristically mean to her. Does this moment give us permission to do the same? If not, how do we make sense of it? Join us this morning as we talk about “Great Is Her Faith.”

Struggling to Understand God? – Join us this morning

We’re used to people making things vague. Some folks are great a spinning answers and skirting facts. Clarity is a gift, and it’s great to have a Lord who is clear. Our challenge is that we often don’t like Jesus’ clarity. Have you ever struggled with a difficult word from Jesus? Today, we’re going to talk about dealing with Jesus’ difficult teachings. We’ll use a specific example, then be talking about how to deal with others. If you’ve ever struggled to understand what God may be saying to you, this is the morning for you.

We’ll be live on Facebook at 11:00, or you can watch at any time on Facebook or Youtube.

Trying to make sense of your world? – Join us this morning

Once again it was a difficult week for the Buffalo community. Such times make us ask hard questions. This week we are looking at a story in the Bible of someone who came to Jesus with his questions. In it, we see how Jesus works with us to get what we really need not just what we think we need. Join us as we explore how God is Our Helper.
