Are you upset that life isn’t fair? Join us today
We base a lot of life on fairness, yet we know that life isn’t fair. There is no explanation for why people suffer as they do. This lack of fairness keeps many people from a relationship with God. However, making fairness the priority may be the issue. This morning we’ll explore how there’s something more important at work in life. Join us for “Will you defend your faith?” Click here for the video
We’ll be live on Facebook at 11:00, or you can watch at any time on Facebook or Youtube.
Here is some information to help you participate if you’re joining us online:
- The response to our interactive opening prayer is, “No! God’s grace is not fair, but a gift of God’s mercy.”
- The songs are “Grace Greater than Our Sin” and “Are Ye Able?” Look up the words online, and you can sing along.
- The Bible reading is Matthew 15:21-28.
- Share a prayer request in the comments. It can be a praise for God doing something good in your life or a challenge where you hope to see God move in a particular way. Please let us know how God is moving in your life.
- Share an offering in our app in Givelify or send a check to the church.
We’re looking forward to worshipping with you. Have a blessed Lord’s day, everyone!

Worship and Cookout Outside Today – August 6
“What are you hungry for when you don’t know what you’re hungry for?” That line was in a commercial many years ago, but it asks something we’ve all felt. People will do many different things when they are desperate to fill a need. Those feelings get worse when we’re not honest about the need. Jesus understands that. Today, we’re studying one of Jesus’ most well-known miracles, the feeding of the 5000, to help us understand “Satisfying our Hunger.”
We’ll be live on Facebook at 11:00, or you can watch at any time on Facebook or Youtube. Today is also our worship on the lawn followed by our church cookout. If you’re near Baynes and Potomac, stop by for faith, food, and fun.
Here is some information to help you participate if you’re joining us online:
