Worship with us – Figuring out what’s next

Now what? We can never escape this question. After the buildup and preparation for Christmas, we wake up the next day. Now what? The challenge of figuring out what to do after such high points (or low ones) confuses all of us. God has an answer. We see it in the story of Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus. God continues to lead us if we are watching. Join us this morning as we discuss the power of “Waiting.”

We’ll be live on Facebook at 11:00, or you can watch any time on Facebook or YouTube.

Here is some information to help you participate if you’re joining us online:

  • The response to our interactive opening prayer is, “We watch and work for God’s kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.”
  • The songs are “Joy to the World” and “The First Noel.” Look up the words online, and you can sing along.
  •  The Bible reading is Luke 2:22-40.
  • Share a prayer request in the comments. It can be praise for God doing something good in your life or a challenge where you hope to see God move in a particular way. Please let us know how God is moving in your life.
  • Share an offering in our app in Givelify or send a check to the church.

We’re looking forward to worshipping with you. Have a blessed Lord’s Day, everyone!

Find Fierce Joy – December 17

Are you happy? Happiness is tied our circumstances, moods, and moments. When those change, our happiness can change. Joy is usually the theme of this week of Advent. Moods and circumstances don’t affect joy. The joy of the disciple of Christ is rooted in the connection to Christ. It’s present in all circumstances and times. We may focus on other things, but we don’t lose our joy. If you struggle with finding joy in your life, join us today. We’ll show you how to discover “our fierce joy.”

Worship with us this morning – December 10

We’re excited that Christmas is coming. If we’re being totally transparent, many of us are also stressed that Christmas is coming. These weeks are usually filled with planning, shopping, decorating, and other things. That doesn’t feel like what we mean when we call Advent the season of preparation. Where is the “peace” that the season is supposed to represent? Everyone wants their Christmas time to be special and beautiful, but how do we keep from losing the truth in the midst of all of the cultural and worldly pressures? Join us this week as we discuss how to focus on the things that matter during this season. Let’s “Prepare a Straight Path” together.

We’ll be live on Facebook at 11:00, or you can watch at any time on Facebook or YouTube. Click here for video

Could you use a renewed hope? Join us for our worship today and discover the power of this time as we anticipate the movement of God as Christ comes to us in a new way.
