Worship with us this morning – August 1

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Communication is a critical part of any relationship. It’s difficult to believe that people have established meaningful relationships if they don’t communicate regularly. No matter how long we’ve walked with Christ, we can still strengthen our prayer life. For the next four weeks, we’re going to be exploring prayer. We are going to learn from the best possible example, Jesus. How did Jesus pray? What can we learn from Jesus’ example of prayer that can help us grow as disciples and get closer in our relationship with God? This week our focus is on what Jesus said about prayer. If you’ve ever wondered how to enrich your prayer life, take this journey with us. Join us this Sunday for Teach Us to Pray – Part One.

Worship with us this morning – July 25

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!

Most people hate to fail. When we try something, we work hard to make sure that we’re likely to succeed. Some people become so concerned with the possibility of failure that it keeps them from ever trying to do something new and bold. They refuse to take the risk, but faithful service to Jesus will always involve risk. Jesus tries to prepare us for that reality by forcing us to understand that we do not have the luxury of not trying because were afraid. You must risk whatever you fear to achieve what God has in store for you. How do we learn to live with that? Click here to join us this Sunday for “The Safe Way There.”

Here is some information to help you participate in worship online:

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! You think you know somebody. People often say this after discovering something about someone that surprises them. All of us have seen loved ones change over the years. Have others witnessed changes in you as a result of your relationship with Christ? If the people who know you best haven’t seen anything that looks like growth, how do you know you’ve grown? Looking at a story from the life of Jesus, we’ll explore the idea of growing in faith in “How Well Do They Know You?”

Worship with us this morning – July 11

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Have you ever seen someone living in their passion? You can see passion on the face of a great singer like Aretha Franklin, a dancer like Debbie Allen, or a painter like Frida Kahlo. Expressing passion is a beautiful and powerful thing. How do you live your passion for Christ? This week we’re reading a story about King David where he showed his passion for God in a few different ways. Someone confronted him about it, but he explained why he had to do it. If you have a passion for Jesus, it has to make its way into how you live. Join us for Bible Study Tonight

Understanding how God is at work in our lives can be one of the most challenging aspects of faith. If you’ve ever wanted to have a better understanding of how God may be clearing a path, protecting from harm, providing your needs, or showing love even when you’re not aware of it, tonight is the night for you. Join us for Bible study tonight at 7:00 as we look at two stories that show how God works in us and around us. Message the church for the link.

Worship with us today – July 4

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! No one is invisible. God knows and sees us all despite how the world makes us feel. A famous story like this when Jesus encounters a woman who was an outcast among people that Jews (like Jesus) worked very hard to avoid because of past disagreements. It embodies the saying “every saint has a past and every sinner has a future.” If you feel that no one sees you or no one understands you, listen to this story of how God works. Click here to join us for “Jesus Meets the Woman at the Well.”
