Worship with us today – September 28

It is an incredible thing to know the love of Christ in your life. Many of us discovered that truth at times when we weren’t feeling very lovable. Where would we be if he hadn’t been willing to come to us during those moments? Jesus crossed social, cultural, and religious lines to love people. Jesus loves when it’s hard. He loves people the world says we shouldn’t. He loves when we’re at our worst. He loved boldly and calls us to do the same. If you want to understand the difference a love like that makes, join us this morning as we discover what it means to love boldly.

We’ll be live on Facebook on Sunday at 11:00 a.m., or you can watch anytime on Facebook or YouTube.

  • Here is some information to help you participate if you join us online: Our opening prayer today is responsive. The response is “God is worthy to be praised.”
  • The songs are “Open My Eyes that I May See” and “Pass It On.” You can look up the words online and sing along.
  • The Bible reading is John 4:4-29.
  • We invite you to share your prayer requests in the comments. Whether it’s a moment of praise for God’s goodness in your life or a challenge where you hope to see God’s intervention, we want to hear from you. Worship with us today – September 14

Most of us have been lost at some point. We understand the confusion and fear those moments bring. It’s not something any of us choose. We also know the other side. The fear and concern that arise when we can’t find something we value are feelings we want to avoid in our lives. Knowing this, can you imagine how God feels about people who are lost? God knows where everyone is. From God’s perspective, being lost means those who choose not to accept God’s love and will in their lives. The good news is that God works every bit as hard as we do to find what is lost. Today, you might experience the joy of what it means to be found. Join us!
